What it does

The module builds a continuous chain of custody across every handoff a product goes through: manufacturing, packaging, distribution, storage, and delivery to the point of use. AI models ingest sensor data, scan events, shipment manifests, and operational records in real time, cross-checking each transition against expected routes, custodians, and conditions. Instead of separate paper trails held by separate parties, each of them editable and each easy to lose, the system maintains one tamper-evident event history that cannot be altered after the fact, only appended to, timestamped, and independently verified.

Every batch, lot, and unit carries a live status: current location, custody holder, environmental conditions, and certification state, updated automatically as events occur rather than reported after the fact. Big Data analytics flag anomalies as they happen, a temperature excursion, an unexpected delay, a route departure, a custody gap, before they become losses, spoilage, or safety incidents. When a recall is triggered, the platform identifies every affected batch, every downstream holder, and every current location within minutes, turning what used to be a manual, multi-day investigation into a single automated query.
