Module 06 · Platform
P&L turns financial reporting from a monthly reconstruction project into a live, continuously updated view. Profit, loss, assets, and margin update automatically as operations actually happen across the platform, not weeks later after someone finishes entering the data.
What it does
The module maintains a live profit and loss position by reading directly from the operational events already recorded across the platform: shipments, transactions, custody transfers, evaluations, and completed contracts. There is no separate manual entry step and no month-end reconstruction from disconnected spreadsheets held by different teams. Revenue, cost of goods, and margin are calculated continuously as operations occur, so the current financial position reflects what has actually happened in the business rather than what was last reconciled weeks ago. Multi-currency and multi-entity consolidation happen automatically, so a group operating across several markets sees one consistent, real-time position rather than reconciling separate national reports.
An automated asset register tracks holdings, inventory, and equipment with current valuation, location, and condition, feeding directly into the balance sheet without a separate audit exercise. AI models analyze cost drivers and margin trends across products, suppliers, and business units, surfacing which activities are actually profitable rather than assumed to be based on last year's numbers. Bookkeeping entries are generated automatically from verified operational data, reducing manual reconciliation work and closing the gap between what the books show and what the business is actually doing. Depreciation, write-downs, and obsolescence on aging inventory are calculated automatically rather than discovered at year-end, keeping the asset register aligned with what the business actually holds.

In pharma and health
For pharmaceutical and health businesses managing complex supply chains, clinical inventories, and regulated assets, real-time financial visibility replaces guesswork with certainty. Margin on a specific product line, the true landed cost of a cold-chain shipment, or the current value of a controlled-substance inventory is available immediately rather than at quarter close. Finance teams identify underperforming products, rising input costs, or margin erosion as it happens, and can act before a small variance becomes a material loss, without waiting weeks on a manual closing cycle.
